Attic Garage Plans
Attic garage plans have volume of empty space within the roof. It is free space Your roof structure creates that free space. You can use it for storage and many other things. In out attic garage plans you won't find a code compliant stairway access. The building code defines attic access as a simple opening with revoveable panel. They also allow manufactured fold down attic stair assemblies. You normally place them between the bottom truss chords or ceiling joists if present. Some local authorities have limits on vertical height within the attic so it is worth verifying. Their intention is to prevent the building/adapting of attics as dwelling space (such as apartments). It is advisable to check with your local authority regarding allowable attic space, just in case it is a local issue.
