After many customer requests we created this extra large, 3 bay version of our 1500- series, oversized garage plans. Interior space is wide open with 10 ft. wall height. With 3 large 10 ft. wide x 8 ft. high garage doors this plan makes entry and exit easy. The structure of this garage plan is conventional, using 2 x 4 wall framing @ 16″ o.c. with standard roof trusses @ 24″ o.c.. Because of size the garage doors may be special order at local suppliers, but they are available from many manufacturers. This plan is prescriptively code compliant for A and B seismic categories and 100 mph wind. For more extreme conditions extra engineering may be required locally.
